The Animatrix will be released in the US and Canada on VHS and DVD on June 3, 2003. From the creators of “The Matrix” trilogy, this groundbreaking collection of 9 short films from 7 of the world’s leading Anime directors provides a visionary fusion of CG-Animatron and Japanese Anime. “The Second Renaissance, Parts 1 & 2″, are said to be the best among the nine episodes, and are the prequel stories to “The Matrix” movies.
