Blog This: Google

According to this, Google has added a “blog this” button to the Google toolbar which automatically copies any text you have highlighted on a Web page to your blog, along with a link to the page where it originated. It requires the user to have an account at Blogger.com and currently requires Internet Explorer 5 and newer, though other browser versions are also in the works. They’ve also added a pop-up stopper, similar to the one that Mozilla users have at hand. It’s configurable by website, so if there are sites you want to view the popups on, that’s allowable.

I’m curious as to when the Google blog search is coming. I’m anticipating it to be another tab on the current search page, separating the results from the rest of the web, much like the Google Groups, Image, and News searches.
