   thx,,i was curious about the why,,because i learn things all time,from peoples,,whom i have contact with,,from you i have learned why my linux has not decided to work(modem wise) and that i can perhaps have my gimp again,,i miss that,gimp alot,,but perhaps linux will work with xp,,and slowly i can goe back to all linux again and just draw and do my image things,,,though i do have good tools here in xp,,and the css articles are educative also,,and i almost the smile of yours*grins* back,,thank very mucho,and happy holidays,,again i am mickels:)

   I’m tempted to try a Windows version of gimp. I’ve never tried it, but quite a few people tell me I should. I’ve been a PaintShop Pro fanatic since it was in freeware (v.3) and it’s now up to v.8, but I haven’t upgraded from 7.04 yet. A lot of people told me I should be using PhotoShop (all the “real” graphics folks use it), heh, but I just can’t get used to the user interface and work comfortably with it. PaintShop Pro, on the other hand, is something I’m used to working with. I think it’s all just tools, and whatever works for you is what you should use.

    i had paintshop also,,in freeware version,,never like d anything else,ha!:)
