Man 1, Bank 0

Site of the Week (which is not every week), comes to us this week via David Rutt in the UK, who writes:

It’s about a man who receives some junk mail with a “fake” cheque made out to him which he cashes for a joke. Surprisingly, the bank gives him the money!

It’s about an hour’s long read, but one that I think you’ll find very entertaining and well-written. Best of all, the story is true. The site is : Man 1, Bank 0. I won’t tell you how it ends, either. You just have to read it. [Thanks, David!] :)

Hey, it’s a pleasure! Considering how old that story is I can’t believe it’s taken this long to find out about it. Props to him for having the gall to do it in the first place and then having ability to write in in such an entertaining way.
