Download Fahrenheit 9/11
Áine on October 26th, 2004 filed in PoliticsAt last, there’s a download for Fahrenheit 9/11. It’s in several formats, but beware the file size is somewhere around 650-700MB, so I wouldn’t recommend it for dialup users. There’s a torrent file available (BitTorrent client required), and that’s the way I’d go to save someone some bandwidth, but you can download it in other formats and normal ways, as well.
“Controversial filmmaker Michael Moore has said he’s happy to let people share his latest film, Fahrenheit 9/11, across peer-to-peer networks.
The film, which is critical of President George Bush and his administration, won the Palme d’Or award at this year’s Cannes Film Festival.
“I don’t agree with the copyright laws and I don’t have a problem with people downloading the movie and sharing it with people as long as they’re not trying to make a profit off my labour. I would oppose that,” Moore told the Scottish Sunday Herald. “I do well enough already and I made this film because I want the world to change. The more people who see it the better, so I’m happy this is happening.”" — [Source: ‘Pirate my film, says Michael Moore’ by Kim Gilmour @ WebUser]
