Did you vote?

In this tiny rural community of Ontonagon, Michigan (pop. ~5,200), I stood in line for about 50 minutes this morning waiting to vote. Even with the chilly wind and the rain, no one left the line. Paper and pencil ballots here (fill in the oval) with an optical scanner. I voted straight-party Democrat, which made it a fairly quick process. I’ll be anxiously waiting until all the results are in. Let’s hope it’s good news.

Sitting here at work right now and most of the results are just too close to tell. Everything is so close! Keeping my fingers crossed…

Bush is winning. =(
Damn Ohio. Michigan should have invaded them long ago when we had the chance.

Looking back, 15 months later, I don’t regret who I voted for, and I’m certain he would have made a better president than this incompetent AWOL boob currently sitting in the White House.
Everyone who didn’t vote, and those who voted for Bush and Dick, I hold you responsible for everything that’s happened since 2000. And I expect you to fix it and pay for it.
