Our Employee is asking Congress to set up a $400 million fund to reward nations that have taken political and economic risks to join U.S.-led coalitions in Iraq and Afghanistan. And he told President Aleksander Kwasniewski of Poland that he would ask Congress for $100 million to modernize the Polish military.

This, when our own military is in need, and while he’s tacking on fees to disabled veteran’s medical benefits, and while $9 BILLION of the budget for Iraq is still unaccounted for?

Absurd, indeed!

No doubt, Congress won’t tell him to “get bent” but it certainly should.
