It’s Lawyer Season

I’ve only got this to say regarding the Cheney Got A Gun story…

Well we already know these right-wingers don’t see correctly. They seem to see what they want to see… I suppose if you see WMD’s all over Iraq and nukes all over Iran, and terrorists where there used to be Democrats and Liberals, then your shooting is likely to be affected.

What really gets to me is that wealthy white men get into a limo (or maybe it’s one of those high-fallutin’ SUVs that gets really shitty gas mileage), they drive to a private farm where little birds are cage-raised, they put full hunting gear on (not that cheap shit you buy at Wal-mart either), like they are real hunters going out into the field looking for game to feed their families with, they then release these caged birds to shoot at and kill. For fun. This isn’t real hunting by real manly men. It’s more like bullshit — let’s go get drunk and shoot guns and pretend to be manly men — than anything else. And then, to not even buy the hunting stamp to do it… heh. They do THIS while people are getting killed in Afghanistan and Iraq. For enjoyment. For relaxation. Funny.

Now that things have turned darker and we have the worst president ever, things really aren’t very funny so you have to get your laughs when you can (thank the gods for the cartoonists and comedians!). This incident is kind of a hilarious metaphor for this entire administration (gross incompetence or abject wickedness? you be the judge)… but I’ll betcha if Whittington dies, they’ll find some way to blame it on Hillary or the so-called “liberal media” which is neither liberal nor media, but since when did facts matter to these people?
