Smells Like the Train Wreck is Burning

Rather than center his SOTU speech on his Iraq strategy, which is the #1 issue for the majority of Americans, Bush spoke about domestic issues, although he blatantly ignored the status of recovery after Katrina (still), and is reportedly ready to reach across the aisle now that his approval ratings are the lowest for any president since Richard Nixon. [Damn, that was a long sentence!] Meanwhile, John McCain ‘throws Dick Cheney under the bus’ for a ‘terribly mishandled’ war, and Scooter Libby’s defense team ‘throws Karl Rove under the bus’ and implicates Dick Cheney as the original source of the Valerie Plame/CIA leak.

Yes siree, ’stay the course’…
