If you would like to give a gift to Cheeta, please consider donating to the CHEETA sanctuary, which also cares for other ex-movie primates. Cheeta can create a beautiful painting for you. Cheeta uses a paintbrush and bright colors for his creations. Paintings created by Cheeta are available for a donation of $135 per painting (this includes $10.00 for shipping within the continental US) or $150 per painting (this includes $25.00 for shipping outside the continental US). Your donations are tax deductible and all of the proceeds are used to support the animals at the sanctuary.

Cheeta the chimpanzee, the animal star of 12 Tarzan films, celebrated his 75th birthday yesterday (April 9th). The famous animal star, who appeared in the 30s and 40s jungle blockbusters, is the world’s oldest chimpanzee. The usual lifespan is about 50.
